会津本郷焼は福島県会津美里町を中心とした地域で焼かれる陶磁器。陶器、磁器が生産される産地。毎年8月に会津本郷せと市が開催されている。

主な歴史：1593年／若松城の改修にあたって播磨国から瓦工を招き瓦を焼いたのが始まりとされる。1645年／保科正之が長沼から瀬戸出身の陶工を召し抱え、本格的な陶器の製造を開始。1800年／佐藤伊兵衛が磁器焼成に成功。1958年／ブリュッセル万国博覧会に出品した宗像窯の「にしん鉢」がグランプリを獲得。1993年／国の伝統的工芸品に指定。
Aizu Hongo ware pottery was fired in the area around the town of Aizu Misato, Fukushima Prefecture. Pottery, Porcelain origin is produced. The Aizu Hongo market has been held in every August.

History include: 1593 / The origin is the beginning of the baked tile tile invited Harima Engineering Wakamatsu Castle for refurbishment. 1645 / Masayuki Hoshina mercenary troops from the Seto potter from Naganuma, and started full-scale production of pottery. 1800 / Sato Ihei successful firing porcelain. 1958 / Munakata kiln was exhibited in Brussels Exposition "bowl herring" won the Grand Prix. 1993 / designated traditional crafts of the country.
