四日市萬古焼は三重県四日市市を中心とした地域で焼かれる陶磁器。耐熱性に優れる炻器。急須や土鍋が有名であり、特に土鍋の国内シェアの大部分を占める。

主な歴史：17世紀／回船問屋の沼波家が「萬古不易」の印を押した焼き物を作り始めたのが始まり。1734年～1740年／沼波弄山が京焼の尾形乾山に学び開窯する。1832年／弄山の死後廃絶していたが、森有節、千秋の兄弟によって再び開窯された。1800年代後期／それまで文人趣味だった作品が、販路開拓と組合の成立でより産業らしいものになる。1900年代初期／水谷寅次郎により硬質陶器が産み出され「大正焼」と呼ばれた。これが現在の四日市萬古焼に繋がる。1979年／国の伝統的工芸品に指定。

History include: Century 17 / Nunami house lighter wholesale started making pottery in sealed "Banko Hueki". 1734 - 1740 / Rouzan Nunami open the kiln to learn the Kyo ware Ogata Kanzan. 1832 / Banko ware was the abolition of the Rouzan's death. However Sensyu, Yusetsu Mori brothers opened again by the kiln. Late 1800s / The formation of the Partnership and the development of sales channels through which the work was a literary taste becomes more industrial. Early 1900 / Torajiro Mizutani was created by a stone china. It is "Taisho ware" was called. Yokkaichi Banko now lead to this. 1979 / designated traditional crafts of the country.
