有田焼は佐賀県有田町を中心に焼かれる磁器。積み出しが伊万里港から行われていたことにより伊万里とも呼ばれる。全国の百貨店などで見る事ができ、海外への出品にも積極的で知名度が高い産地と言える。毎年ゴールデンウィークに佐賀県有田町で有田陶器市と呼ばれるイベントが開催され多くの観光客が訪れる。

主な歴史：17世紀初／豊臣秀吉の朝鮮出兵の際、陶工を日本へと連れ帰り肥前国鍋島藩主・鍋島直茂が連れ帰った李参平（りさんぺい、イ・サムピョン）が有田の泉山で白磁鉱を発見。そこに天狗谷窯を開き白磁を焼いたものが有田焼の祖とされる。17世紀後／柿右衛門様式の磁器の生産がはじまる。1650年／オランダ東インド会社が伊万里焼（有田焼）を購入し、ハノイに納めた。19世紀／各国で開催された万国博覧会に出品される。1977年／経済産業大臣が指定する伝統工芸品に指定。
