大谷焼は徳島県鳴門市大谷地区で焼かれる陶器。

主な歴史：1780年／徳島藩主から磁器の焼成をするよう命令があり、九州から職人を呼び磁器の生産を開始。しかし、すぐに衰退。1784年／納田平次平衛が信楽焼の職人から技術を習得し、大谷村に登り窯を築き陶器の生産を開始。現在の大谷焼に繋がる。2003年／国の伝統的工芸品に指定。

Main History: 1780 / The lord ordered of Tokushima to make porcelain. Call craftsmen began producing porcelain from Kyushu. But soon decline. Year 1784 / Jihe Nodahira craftsmen learned their craft from Shigaraki, and began producing pottery kiln built in the village Otani. Otani, leading to the current burning. 2003 / designated traditional crafts of the country.
